Why a retreat, not a workshop

You can't think your way out of a body that's braced.

If you're the one everyone leans on, your nervous system has probably been in a low, constant state of alert for years. Not crisis — just always on. You've done the mindset work. This is the layer underneath it.

Body

It starts with the body, not the story.

Breath, weight, temperature, orienting. We work bottom‑up, because a nervous system in survival mode cannot hear a good idea, no matter how true it is.

Room

We do it together, which is the point.

Nervous systems settle in company — that's co‑regulation, not a metaphor. Thirty women doing the same quiet thing in one room is why this works better than an app on your phone.

Table

And then we eat.

Lunch is at the end, not the middle. You get to feel what settled actually feels like in company, before you take it back into your life.

“Rest isn’t a reward for finishing everything. It’s what makes finishing anything possible.”

The part you'll notice first

What changes by lunchtime.

You don't have to believe anything for this to work. You just have to let yourself be looked after for a morning. Most women notice some of these before we've even sat down to eat:

  • Your jaw has unclenched, and you can't say when

  • You can hear yourself think again

  • Your shoulders are back where they belong

  • You've stopped bracing for the next thing

  • You laugh at something small, easily

  • You know exactly what you're putting down

And you'll leave with it written down — one thing you're setting down, in your own handwriting. A page for the fridge, not the drawer.

Why lunch isn't the afterthought

You can't rest in a room you're performing in.

A lot of the work of a morning like this happens simply because you're doing it beside other women doing it too. That isn't sentiment — it's co‑regulation, and it's why we finish at one table rather than at a door.

Lunch comes at the end, deliberately. You get to feel what settled feels like in company, before you take it home to the people who usually get the braced version of you.

What you're booking

  • Just come as you are — you don't need to bring anything but yourself

  • Meet & greet on arrival, because nobody arrives settled

  • The long lunch — a proper table, catered to everyone's needs

  • A printed workbook and a short practice to take home for the weeks after

  • A small group — thirty at most, and that's what makes it safe enough to let go in
